To support NHS care and overcome ongoing problems caused by unauthorised parking, St Paul’s Medical Centre in Cheltenham will be operating a new car park management system from 15 August 2022 to enable patients and staff to park. The new system will use automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras to record all vehicles arriving at and departing from the car park. Under the new arrangements, a maximum stay of 90 minutes will apply to anyone using the health care facilities, including GP surgery patients. Vehicles which remain in the car park for longer will receive a fine in the post from a private company.
